Hi Darlingsheart Red

My posts are a little scant right now, because life is really busy, lots going on, and has also taken an unusual turn, but in the very near future, I will be making important lifestyle changes, where I’ll be able to do exactly what I truly love… “Blog, Style, Vintage™” Stay tuned!  Sometimes you take on a project, which in the beginning you thought was going to enhance your life, but instead has caused you to continually turn to God, to help get you through each day!  Without going into details, it has yet been another teaching moment to guide me through this exciting, and wonderful, yet complicated journey called life.  No matter, what, I am Truly Blessed Beyond Measure!

This quote really spoke to me today…

Quote - I do not exist to impress the world

This weekend in DC was simply glorious!! We truly could not have asked for more, the sky was azure blue, with snow-white clouds and a lovely breeze, even in the high 80’s.

Everywhere I went, everyone just seemed so happy, and there were tons of babies everywhere which is always an adorable sight to see.  Church as always was a joy to attend. I truly love this time of year.

I want to wish you a beautifully blessed week, and until next time, remember to…

Quote - Be Who You Are

I’m re-posting my anthem, “I’m Every Woman” by Chaka Khan for the “I’m Every Woman” out in this world.  Click on the link and enjoy!

Until next time… Peace, Love & Blessings

An Inspirational Moment…

In Daily Musings on November 19, 2013 at 10:17 am

Good morning Darlings! I’ve posted this quote before, but I found it fitting to re-post today.

successful

Never allow anyone, to try to remove your crown and throw you off your throne.  YOU ARE QUEEN

I’m sharing this link to an inspirational quote, posted by Joyce Meyer this morning, which was shared by a good friend today.  It was the second timely quote my friend shared with me just this morning; both quotes were so on point, they inspired me to write this post.  It’s amazing how timely certain messages come into your life.  Thank you Ms. J.

Maylana’s message: Be inspired by the bricks that may be thrown at you, continue building your firm foundation, and remember….  Stand your ground and have absolute Faith!

Have an Amazing, Fabulous and Truly Blessed Day!

A Diva’s Valentine Theme…

In Daily Musings on February 14, 2012 at 9:39 am

I dedicate to all of you single Divas out there, this Valentine’s Day as the official Treat Your Inner Diva Day. whether it’s a mani/pedi, new lingerie, a gorgeous scented candle, a bottle of bubbly or all of the above, celebrate YOU! Don’t let the commercialization of this “pretend” holiday, make you feel less than you are.  Today is a day where some women, may feel a little down because they don’t have anyone “special” in their lives or are looking to someone to make them feel special today and then start an argument when they don’t deliver. DON’T!

Don’t wait for someone else to make you feel worthy, make yourself feel special because you are!  You’re A Diva!  Leave your office/cubicle right now, go to Starbucks and buy that Venti White Chocolate Latte, you never buy because you’re on a never-ending diet, trust me you’ll feel good!

Celebrate your fabulousness, celebrate YOU!  Buy yourself some flowers (although exorbitantly overpriced), better yet buy them tomorrow where they’ll be back to normal prices and everyone one is kicking themselves for buying  a dozen roses for $100 and you only paid $25 at Whole Foods (plus theirs would have started wilting)!  Take a bath, add something nice to it, put on your high heels and something floaty, pour a glass of bubbly, order some take-out, then cue the music (I’m feeling Bruno Mars right now, don’t play anything too sentimental, depression is not the goal here, how about “I’m Every Woman” by Chaka Khan?).  Perch yourself delicately on your sofa, cross your legs and be fabulous in your own living room.  Celebrate the Wonderful, Gorgeous ,God Given YOU!

If you have some girlfriends who are also unattached, get a group together and go and have a cocktail somewhere, make as much noise as possible to interrupt the so-called smoochy lovers (I do not usually advocate being loud, but hey it’s Valentines day, just don’t blame me if you get thrown out!).  Whatever you do, DO NOT sit around feeling sorry for yourself, it’s a commercial holiday, get over it.  The special person in your life is YOU!  And if you do have someone significant, cherish that person every single day, not just today, because you want a gift and a nice meal, so you can brag about it tomorrow.  Make every day  in your relationship a beautiful day, make every day about Love.

Here’s something cute from Googlehttps://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en

Dahhlings… Always Remember, You Are Special!

Here’s a recipe for one of my favourite cocktails, called a  Kir Royale  – a cocktail fit for a Queen… Enjoy!

Champagne * Chambord Liqueur (or if your strapped for cash try Mr. Boston Raspberry liqueur, $6) *  Raspberries, Champagne Flute

Place a Champagne flute in the freezer for 15 minutes. Remove and add 1 tablespoon Chambord to each flute and a few raspberries. Fill each flute to the top with Champagne and serve immediately – Cheers!

Happy Valentines day!

Smooches!
