Happy Valentine’s Day to all my Style Mavens, and especially to all my single ladies, who may feel a little left out and alone today. Never ever let this day make you feel any less than you are or like you’re missing something, because you’re not. You are Whole, Beautiful, Fabulous, Creative and Talented.
For all you single ladies, here’s your anthem “I’m Every Woman” by Chaka Khan
I’d love to wish my blog family a very Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays. Thank you for following, it truly means a lot to me.
Make this special time, as fabulous as you possibly can. Remember to say a prayer for those less fortunate. I hope you’ve all had a fantastic day, sharing love, good food and the gift of life with your family and friends. Christmas would not be Christmas without hearing the fabulous Eartha Kitt, purr in her sultry voice, Santa Baby {click to listen} Santa did not bring my Sable coat again this year… I need to have a word!
Love, Light & Peaceful Blessings.

Happy Easter fabulous Bunnies {I still don’t understand how bunnies and Easter became associated, but I digress!} Wishing you a blessed, light filled and beautiful day. Above is the ultimate Easter bonnet. If you’re going to wear one, you may as well do it stylishly.
Growing up in London, every Easter, my mum used to treat us to these huge milk chocolate eggs, which were filled with more chocolate surprises, and sometimes small toys. These eggs seem to be very hard to find here in the States, and if you do find them, they’ve been imported from England, and sold at exorbitant prices!
Big sis please ship one to me!!
I would love to wish all of you, an Amazing, Blessed and Extra Special Easter weekend!

The ubiquitous allocated day of “Love” is upon us once again. Whether you believe it’s one of the most commercialized holidays, selling flowers and gourmet chocolates at over inflated premium prices, or you’re a die hard romantic, who truly believes in “Valentine’s Day” either way, there is no way to miss it.
Whether you have a significant other or not, enjoy the day, but more importantly, LOVE yourself! Today, celebrate how much YOU’VE grown over the past year, LOVE YOURSELF for that. Celebrate how much YOU’VE accomplished, love yourself for that too.
Even if you do have a significant other to bring you flowers, go out and buy yourself a bunch just because you love you too. If not flowers, treat yourself to something, it can be as small or as large as you like. I know Valentine’s day is supposed to be about romance, but why not romance yourself? You deserve it.
Go to Starbucks and buy yourself that Venti Caramel Macchiato with extra caramel. instead of your usual grande with skimmed milk. Go to Godiva and buy yourself the box of treats which contains 4 of their best-selling chocolates, and sit and eat them all at once, or even better, buy yourself 2 of their huge chocolate covered strawberries and eat them at once too.
My point is, Treat Yourself, Love Yourself, make Valentines Day whatever you’d like it to be, and if you choose to ignore Valentines Day altogether, you can sit in front of your TV wearing whatever you like, and watch a few reruns of NCIS or Castle {USA and TNT respectively}… Hey, that’s just fine too! Just pour yourself a glass of wine, while you’re at it!
Merry Christmas Dahhlings; especially to my UK family, and also to my new WordPress, Facebook, Blog Trends and Twitter families; I wish you all a fabulous and glorious holiday season.
May the season find you healthy, in good spirits and prosperous. May 2013 be the most fabulous year yet! God Bless!
Christmas isn’t Christmas for me, until I’ve heard Silent Night {Stille Nacht}. For me, it’s one of the most beautiful and moving Christmas carols ever. Composed by Franz Xaver Gruber and lyrics written by Father Joseph Mohr. Here’s one of the versions I love, sung by Mariah Carey, who in my opinion, sings it beautifully.
Hi Dahhlings! It truly has been a very busy last few days, so busy, that I never got a chance to write my last-minute shopping guide among other blog projects. The collage above should explain why I’ve been MIA! It’s been a pleasant problem to have, I truly enjoy creating elegant items for my customers, and this time of year is especially busy.
I hope you’ve gotten all of your gifts, decorations, delicious food and all the other important goodies for the big day. 2 days to go!!!
If you haven’t gotten your gifts yet {tommorow is Christmas Eve!} I suggest you take yourselves to the nearest supermarket or drug store, and buy some of those well-known gift cards! Itunes, Nordstrom, Pottery Barn, anyone?

While perusing the ever so addictive Pinterest, I came across this gorgeous painted pumpkin, which was featured in the October issue of Chatelaine Magazine.
It was the vibrant colours which really caught my eye. It never once occurred to me to hollow out a pumpkin, then paint it and fill it with flowers. The good thing is, you don’t even have to hollow out {less work!}, you can just paint as is and viola, a beautiful piece of art created by you!
Thanks to Chatelaine Magazine, this is a DIY project I will try in the near future. Get yourselves some sample size paints at Home Depot or Lowes and paint away to your heart’s content. Who would have thought!! Off to the supermarket I go!
