So my bangle arrived today! I was pleasantly surprised as I truly did not expect it until the end of next week, if that! I commend MyHabit.com and their speedy shipping. The bangle is absolutely GORGEOUS! It looks expensive, has a nice weight to it (I don’t like flimsy jewelry!) and will be my go to piece for a while.
As I mentioned in my post on Tuesday, the bangle was originally$78 reduced to $25, well worth it, in my opinion. Wrap bangle is still available here.
This definitely is a lovely early birthday present to me! Let the celebrations begin!

So I’m crocheting away and watching TV at the same time, when Access Hollywood came on. I was too lazy to change the channel so I continued to watch. Now, this is a show I hardly ever watch, but today, I’m glad I did. Hello Darlings! So good old Valentine’s Day is upon us again, and even though it may be too late to order a gift for yourself or significant other to arrive tomorrow, you can still purchase these lovely paper weights from Mark and Graham. I love this store, you can buy the most lovely paper, monogrammed stationery, and desk accessories, as well as some really beautiful leather items. I love anything paper or any item that’s going to make my home office look elegant. I think these fit the bill.

After the extremely hot and humid summer we had {100+ degrees, 20 straight days} I’m actually glad Autumn is finally here, with temperatures ranging between 65 and 75 degrees. The mornings are now chilly {at least between 35 and 50 degrees} so you now have to dress in layers; but by mid morning/afternoon, its blue skies and gorgeous temperatures.
Here are some of my suggestions for key autumn transition pieces. I know you must have some variation of these looks in your closet.
Purple!! One my absolutely favourite colours. And yes, I will be creating hats similar to this one… Love It!!!

I’m just loving the beautiful red shoes Giuseppe Zanotti has just released. These beauties are a recreation of the red mules, the iconic actress, Katherine Hepburn, wore in the classic movie, Summertime, which was released in 1955 {I love black and white/old movies, the clothes, the style!}.

I just received my Fashion’s Night Out tote bag from QVC {Ordered it on Thursday}, who powered the fashionsnightout.com website for last week’s event. I must say I am surprised that the quality is as good as it is {which it should be for $50!}.
It’s manufactured by Brahmin {pricey handbag company} from heavy-duty cotton, with really nice quality soft leather handles and side accents; not the cheap crappy stuff.
The best thing about this tote is, that the net proceeds raised from the sale of this Vogue designed bag, will benefit “Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, the charitable initiative of the CFDA Foundation, Inc.
