1 year ago today, I left a high paying job of 8 years to step out in faith, and follow my own path. Sometimes you have to take a risk, risk can be good! It’s important to calculate your risks as best as you can; more importantly, put your faith in God, he will never steer you wrong. A good paying job does not instantly mean happiness, I found that out the hard way. A high paying job does not guarantee you good health, good relationships or good associates, I found that out too.
There’s nothing wrong with working for corporate America, corporate UK or wherever you are in the world, just make sure you are in that job for the right reasons and not just to get a cheque. I choose to work for myself. I’m an Aquarian, I am creative, I need to just be… Me!
In the last 12 months I have not looked back. Instead, I started my blog, stepped up my crochet business, opened my Etsy store, figured out Twitter, taken on contract work; made fantastic friends on Instagram (and Twitter), and more importantly I became one happy, over the moon, high-heeled strutting, loving her life, vintage wearing woman! It’s been an amazing journey. Believe me, I haven’t really started yet! There’s so much more to come!
There are those who rooted for me every step of the way, and from the bottom of my heart, I truly thank you. You’ve helped to make this journey what it is.

Thank you so much Evy! When it’s the right time you will know. It took 3 years to make the actual move, there were all the usual worries, rent, bills, insurance, etc, but you know something? everything has worked out better than I could ever of dream of, it was just the right time for me. God knew this was my time to truly shine! At the right moment, it will be the right time for you too. As my mum always says “nothing before it’s time”

Well done x its been very Interesting to hear about you changing your life and doing so well and loving it. I’ve been reading about life paths and such and thought I’d share an experience with you. After reading a bit about spiritual growth, and being super stressed out running through life, I asked out loud, to my angels, advisors, guides etc, for time to research more into this kind of thing. I found my life slowed down by Pvfs which has made me have to take life very slowly and look after my body and mind. One upside of this has been joining Instagram, re-awakening my love of art, colour and nature and of course, meeting you. This path I’m on has been amazing. It took a long time to make the decision, but once I did, everything fell into place. I love reading anything regarding spiritual growth. Wow! That is absolutely wonderful. I too am very creative and sitting behind a desk for 8 hours a day doesn’t do much in the way of stimulation. While I am happy to be working, I know it’s not my purpose. But I’m still sorting it all out.
