Good morning Dahhlings! Well Ms. Sandy came through and did her best, leaving destruction in her wake. She even showed off for me by blowing out the back windows of my home; but I still feel blessed, because a lot of people had much worse damage and, unfortunately, according to news reports, 17 people lost their lives. I’m thankful for being able to see another day!
I decided to post something quirky and chic instead of a depressing photo of what Sandy accomplished; you’ll see enough of that on the news. I hope all my followers and everyone else is safe out there, and stay home if you can, because there is still a lot more cleaning up to do. I’ll be spending most of my day creating blog posts and adding to the Maylana’s Closet accessories and vintage collection.
Look out for a future blog post on my review of a private screening of a wonderful independent movie, titled “A Coward’s Dream“, which I attended on Saturday; I even walked the purple carpet!
Have yourselves a Fabulous, Safe and Amazing day!
I am so glad you are safe dear *muah*
Thank you so much Darling, I really appreciate it.
SO thankful you’re ok! Let us know if you need anything, please.
Thank you so much, you are such a sweetheart to offer. I hope you are safe and sound too.
I’m fine, but I know firsthand how bad this can be. I got flooded in May of 2010, spent three days marooned in my backyard, and still haven’t entirely finished rebuilding. I know the emotional toll this can take on a person.
Anyway, enough of that. Show us your fabulous rain gear! 😉
Lovin her shoes. Thanks for the quirky pic. Sometimes a little humor is the perfect antidote for what ails a person.
Thank you so much. After the madness of yesterday I felt we all needed a little pick me up.
glad you’re fine!
Thanks so much. My prayers are going out to all the families who were affected especially my friends in my 2nd home NY who still have no power.
