I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I certainly did. I attended the fabulous launch of Genties Bow Ties, designed by Antoine. It truly was colourful event, held on the roof top of Ozio’s Wine & Cigar Bar, beautiful weather and beautiful people. Watch out for my blog post on Genties within the next few days.

I’m proud to be British!!
Well we’ve survived the short week, and it was a hectic and productive one for me; I hope it was a good week for you too. My family in England will be having their own 4 day weekend due to celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee, Monday and Tuesday.
Queen Elizabeth has been on the throne for 60 years!!! Poor Prince Charles might not be sitting on the throne anytime soon. Ms. Queen does not seem to be going anywhere. I remember the celebrations for the Silver Jubilee 25 years ago; I hadn’t yet moved to the U.S. I know there’ll be lots of partying and waving the good old Union Jack. Have a drink for me fam… Cheers!

My new journal
Hi Diva’s, Bombshell’s and Gentlemen, I hope you had a marvelous long weekend. For me it was absolutely fantastic! I got some sun, accomplished quite a few projects and overall got the rest I needed. I haven’t had a break since January. Being an entrepreneur, blogger and all around woman of substance is a lot of work! I’m now refreshed and ready to take on the world for the next 6 months!
One of my projects was to open my Etsy Store. I’m performing a soft opening right now, with just a few items. I hope to have my grand opening (more items) within the next week or so. While on my travels I came across the cute journal above, which was on sale for 3.99!! I actually picked it up because I liked the pop-art cover and really thought it was a novel of some kind (the title really attracted me). I was pleasantly surprised to find out, it was an actual journal and the icing on the cake were the quotes within:
These are just a few of the quotes inside (there’s about 100 pages). We need to remind ourselves of these and any other motivational quotes on a daily basis. If you haven’t already, it’s time to make the next 6 months matter, make something extraordinary happen. No more procrastinating, we’re nearly 6 months in. What will you have to show for it?

The Long Weekend…

Well it’s finally here, the weekend we’ve been waiting for. For me it means 4 whole days of relaxation, cocktails, a good book and fabulous company. It’s time for some bright colours, high-heeled sandals and teeny bikinis if you can, or an elegant one piece if you can’t/or don’t want to. It’s all about looking good, feeling good and putting your stylish foot forward; and just being you! let’s get ready for summer! Today I’m posting a Smorgasbord of pics for ideas and inspiration.

I’m just loving the Herena floral print shoe by Aldo. Very much in tune with this season’s bright colours floating around this spring and summer season. For your outfit, I would suggest you pick a neutral colour as your base, pick one of the colours in the shoe if you like, this way you won’t look like a walking botanical garden.
