I just found these Emilio Pucci boots on Lyst.com ~ I’m totally in love with them! They’re the perfect reddish-brown, with an oval toe and stiletto heel, to wear with a pair of dark wash skinny jeans, black Zara turtle neck {with button cuffs} and a fur waistcoat! We keep it simple Dahhling!

After the extremely hot and humid summer we had {100+ degrees, 20 straight days} I’m actually glad Autumn is finally here, with temperatures ranging between 65 and 75 degrees. The mornings are now chilly {at least between 35 and 50 degrees} so you now have to dress in layers; but by mid morning/afternoon, its blue skies and gorgeous temperatures.
Here are some of my suggestions for key autumn transition pieces. I know you must have some variation of these looks in your closet.
Purple!! One my absolutely favourite colours. And yes, I will be creating hats similar to this one… Love It!!!

Well After my mini hiatus, due to illness, I’m back! Look out for new posts, new outlook, new attitude. These studded Chucks should let you know exactly how I’m feeling… FULL OF LIFE, FIERCE AND READY TO BLOG ON 🙂 These chucks have a true rock chick vibe and I’m loving them!!
How would I style? I’d wear a vintage men’s sweatshirt, DIY of course,with the neck cut at a slant, so its off the shoulder, some really skinny jeans or leggings, or, since we’re having a little Indian summer; instead of the jeans I’d pair with my short cargo shorts and my Longchamp bag in Bilberry thrown in for good measure; of course we can’t forget the Baroque Pradas!

I wrote a post back in May, titled “A Gentleman of Style“, which featured style consultant extraordinaire, James Williams II, who is the President & CEO of Washington, DC’s premier style consulting firm, A Stylish Way of Life.
Mr. Williams is holding his 2nd annual style event, which will feature bespoke tailors, custom shoemakers, jewelry and accessory designers and vendors for both men and women.
At the event, Mr. Williams will be on hand to offer free image and wardrobe consultations. This elegant style affair, will be held on Friday, September 28, from 5:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m., at the infamous City Club, located at 555 13th Street, NW, Columbia Square, Washington, DC 20004. After I posted this stunning wedding dress last week, I received quite a few questions via email and this blog asking where to find the dress, and were there more photos. I originally found the dress on Pinterest. I still believe this is a custom-made dress.
One of my new followers who goes by the name Precious (aka Valerie M-W.), did some very chic sleuthing and found the rest of the gown for me. I was originally contacted by her friend Soyini G. who is getting married and was hoping to see more photos; well she enlisted Precious and now because of both of them, I am able to show you these beautiful images. These Valentino gold heeled Oxfords; from his F/W 2012 collection. I discovered them yesterday, and immediately fell in Love. I’m normally a 4″ heel girl, but I think my tastes are changing and I’m becoming a bit more diverse when it comes to my shoes. The high shine, on these are stunning, but what gets me more is the gold heel. Wow!
How would I wear: a tuxedo jacket with a low-cut close-fitting blouse (or with nothing underneath, but some strategically placed body tape), with either a pair of tuxedo shorts, a long black evening skirt (with a back split), or pair the tuxedo jacket with some really skinny black ankle length cigarette pants (a la Audrey Hepburn), Prada baroque sunglasses, red lipstick, and a little gold beaded clutch! In my opinion, Tres Chic and very European!
Another idea, how about a crisp white tailored shirt, tucked into a black full length ball gown skirt with in-seam side pockets and a wide patent leather belt (remember you can thrift all of this!). At $745 these shoes would take some saving up, but a girl can dream can’t she?

I love this red dress. This is exactly how I would style it…Simple! This photo reminds me of walking down 5th Avenue in NY {which it probably is} ~ How I miss NY!!
Red is one of my all time favourites when it comes to colour. Red is hot, and I mean in a sexy way, Red is passion, red is confidence! Red says, I know who I am, do you? Red nails, red lips, red shoes; a slip of a red dress, there’s just something defiant and elegant about the colour of love. Here’s my collage of seeing red… Here goes!

Hi Daahlings! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Mine was a very productive one. I spent most of the weekend taking photos of my inventory for my new Etsy store (now to upload!). As some of you may know, taking photos of clothes (or anything you want to post online) is a very time-consuming business; you’ve got to take a few shots in order to get 1 good one; so when you’re trying to add at least 5 images of an item, that’s a lot of shots. I hope you’re weekend was as productive and lovely as mine, and that you are going to do wonderful things in this new week.
I found the photo above on one of my favourite sites, Pinterest, the yellow dress, the turquoise bag, the shoes, this photo is in my opinion, Perfect!! This is what colour blocking is all about. I thought it was the perfect image for a Monday morning.

Well it’s finally here, the weekend we’ve been waiting for. For me it means 4 whole days of relaxation, cocktails, a good book and fabulous company. It’s time for some bright colours, high-heeled sandals and teeny bikinis if you can, or an elegant one piece if you can’t/or don’t want to. It’s all about looking good, feeling good and putting your stylish foot forward; and just being you! let’s get ready for summer! Today I’m posting a Smorgasbord of pics for ideas and inspiration.
