Goodbye Folk Bespoke…

In Daily Musings, New Loves! on June 26, 2012 at 10:09 am

Last night I found the most amazing bespoke shoe store on Etsy called Goodbye Folk who are based in Mexico City.  In 10 days you can have the most beautiful custom-made shoes in your possession.  My favouites are the robin’s egg blue ankle booties above, (I’ve been having a serious blue moment lately!) lined in gorgeous red leather, priced at $350.

I would wear these booties with some blood-red or wine coloured tights; a vintage oversized men’s Aran sweater, probably in camel, and one of my oversized cowls which I happen to have in a contrasting blue/or one of my sleeveless fur vests, and with that I’ll be on my way!!  I will be treating myself to these beauties!!

In my opinion their shoes could be unisex, if you’re into brogues and low heeled booties.  The collection so far are mostly men’s shoes and boots, with a few women’s styles sprinkled in.   At this time they only have 27 items in their boutique; but they are 27 beautifully well made shoes.  Let’s stay tuned to see what else they come up with.

I’m also very much in love with the red patent and the floral brogues above, among a few others which have caught my eye.

  1. Maylana you just painted a lovely outfit. As you mentioned each piece I was saying yes. You said that sweater and I’m thinking in camel and you were on it lol. You must post your look once you put it together.

I love love love those red patent and floral ones

    • Hi Hera, thanks so much darling, I could literally taste the look. I will definitely post once I put it all together, watch out for this fall; it’s duly noted in my look book!

  2. I really dig that turquoise pair!
