My posts are a little scant right now, because life is really busy, lots going on, and has also taken an unusual turn, but in the very near future, I will be making important lifestyle changes, where I’ll be able to do exactly what I truly love… “Blog, Style, Vintage™” Stay tuned! Sometimes you take on a project, which in the beginning you thought was going to enhance your life, but instead has caused you to continually turn to God, to help get you through each day! This weekend in DC was simply glorious!! We truly could not have asked for more, the sky was azure blue, with snow-white clouds and a lovely breeze, even in the high 80’s.
Everywhere I went, everyone just seemed so happy, and there were tons of babies everywhere which is always an adorable sight to see. Church as always was a joy to attend. I truly love this time of year.

Well guess who overslept and woke up at a 7:00 a.m. to try to snag that gorgeous Marimekko skirt from Banana Republic, only to find out that the sale was open to card holders (which I’m one) 2 days early, and that it was the first item to go!!!! This is what happens when you have too many things going on at the same time!! I need an assistant… Stat!
I was able to snag the strapless dress, which if I like it, will become my Saturday running errands dress. For all of you who were able to grab the skirt… Congrats!! I do have several skirts in the same style as the Marimekko skirt, so I’m not too crushed about it. Apparently it’s also in stores, but I really don’t have time to run around looking for it.
The 2 days too late skirt!!!

Well Darlings, I for one, cannot wait for the release of the limited edition capsule collection from Banana Republic and Marimekko. Now this is a collaboration I can work with. I will have my Banana card at the ready, especially for the skirt above. I love a full midi skirt with side pockets, which is always a classic and timeless look.
Marimekko’s signature bold prints have graced clothes, fabrics, furniture, and tableware; and now Banana Republic has collaborated with the Finland based brand to come up with what in my opinion, will be a sell out collection {especially that skirt!}.
The two looks below are also on my radar, I’m loving those cropped pants!!

I just saw this beauty on Instagram, which was created by Stanmore NYC for Of A Kind, one of my favourite, what I call blog stores; and fell completely in LOVE. This cuff is simply GORGEOUS!!! Oh my gosh Darlings! It’s been 2 weeks since my last post; life has been busy, busy, busy, with its highs, lows and the in betweens.
Since my last post, one of my all time favourite blogs, Daily Candy closed it’s doors for the last time on April 4. I can’t believe it’s been fourteen years. I remember the day they started, every fashionista worth her salt in New York, made sure she received her Candy emails, which was nothing more than a stylish newsletter at the time. Daily Candy eventually branched out to other cities and countries and a blogging star was truly born.
I loved the artwork of the original illustrator, SuJean Rim, who worked with the site for the first 12 years. She captured the essence of a “Candy” girl.
I was working for a major record label, when Daily Candy made her debut back in the year 2000, bringing back great memories of living in New York City, and striding through Manhattan in 4″ stilettos. Thank you Daily Candy for being one of the original daily blogs (you inspired me, and so many others), thanks for the broad range of new fashion designers, home goods, restaurants, daily deals (they were way ahead of Groupon) and many other niceties, you continuously brought our way.

I’ve been catching glimpses of the Wendy Williams show over the last few weeks, and I’ve been quite intrigued by the fabulous crystal cat eye reading glasses she’s being wearing. After a little Google search, I found out that they are made by a company called Divalicious.
These beauties are not for the faint of heart, I absolutely love them, and the prices are amazing, starting at $58.00, where you could treat yourself to a couple of pairs and take them to your optician to have your prescription lens dropped in if you need more than readers.
