Chanel Flower Sweater dress

I love love this Chanel floral sweater dress.  I’m not sure if it’s from last season or this one {if you find out, please let me know}, but it’s simply gorgeous!!! This dress truly cheered me up today; Chanel always does 😉

Warning! This post will be a mish mash of thoughts, images and inspiration.

Thought For The Day ~ It’s been a tough long week, decisions had to be made in order for peace of mind to be had.  Always remember to never ever sell yourself short.  There is not enough money on earth for you to sacrifice your self-respect.  Always go with what you are truly feeling. Short changing yourself pays you nothing!

Working my fingers to complete hats, cowls and scarves… Stay tuned.

Beautiful

I posted this image, not because of the model {though she is attractive}, but to me it’s a perfect black and white photograph.  Add a Burberry trench, and  a Birkin bag… Classic! For me this photo screams Chic!

Finding Delight On A Wednesday…

In Daily Musings on October 24, 2012 at 10:37 am

This quote fittingly describes the woman I am today! I truly do find delight in anything ridiculous.  You must be able to have a good laugh at yourself and at life, and shout out loud… Who cares! Once you let go of all the nonsense, life  becomes much more Enlightening, Free, Exhilarating, and Super Extraordinary.  Get yourself a Lively and Playful disposition TODAY!

As my sister (my staunchest supporter) recently told me “Twinkle Twinkle You’re A Star” That also means YOU!

Here’s a cupcake for you!

Happy Wednesday Dahhlings

Monday Morning Musings…

In Daily Musings on August 20, 2012 at 9:18 am

Well beautiful people, it’s Monday again, I hope you had a wonderful and productive weekend.  Mine was pretty low-key; getting over a slight cold, and pretty much getting myself in order.

It’s a new week and time to make some things happen. I’m putting my best 4″ wedged heels forward. What are you going to make happen this week? Remember, there is no time like the present.

Whatever you’ve been putting off, try to put it in motion, TODAY!

Aim High!!

Have yourselves an amazing and fabulous Monday!

Happy Monday Dahhlings! I hope you had a terrific weekend. The weather was wonderful here (still is), not sweltering, not too humid, just right.

This morning when I booted up my computer, my Weather Bug popped up with its usual ad stream, and there was an ad called “Post Goodness“.  For some unknown reason, I decided to click on it, and was I glad I did.  On this site you post your good intentions of the day.  There’s a red box to “Post Yours“; well I must say this went on for about 10 minutes, where I was posting what I intended to do today; i.e. drink more water, work out 15 minutes longer, create blog posts for the next 3 days, upload more pics to my Etsy store, etc.

Each entry starts differently “Today I Will____”, “More_____, Less_____” plus many more variations.  It’s the luck of the draw, but it gets you thinking about what you propose to do, that’s good for you.  Just Do You!  It’s like posting a one line motivational journal entry to yourself.  You’ll see hundreds of other posts; it seems this site is quite popular.  I’ve posted the link for you to post your own.  I think you’ll find it as addictive as I did.  Click here and Post Yours.

Have yourselves an amazing and productive week!

Monday’s Mantra…

In Daily Musings on August 6, 2012 at 10:26 am

Happy Monday Dahhlings… Well here we are again, a humid yet beautiful Monday.  Above is your motivational mantra for today and the rest of the week… Yes YOU are going to make IT happen.

Whatever it is you are trying to accomplish today, or this week, keep repeating this quote; present this positive message to the universe, and claim what it is you want to happen.  It’s about staying optimistic at all times.

Have yourselves a fabulous Monday!

Monday Musings…

In Daily Musings on July 23, 2012 at 12:20 pm

Hello dahhlings, I hope you had a wonderful weekend like I did.  I attended a wonderful brunch, which was topped off by going to a drag show!  Oh My… those guys are amazing, the make up, the hair and the gowns! Stunning!! I did take pics, but they came out so dark, they weren’t blog worthy.  It was a spur of the moment thing, so hopefully the next time I go I’ll take some better shots to show you.

As reminder…

You really should! There’s no time like the present.  What are you waiting for?

It’s going to be another light week of posts, but again I’ll always try to bring you a little something.  Summer is going by really quickly; can you believe the end of July is next week!

Wishing you a wonderful, amazing and fabulous week.  Take heed of both quotes above; remember you’re beautiful, live life to the fullest, and always continue to… Evolve and Embrace Yourself!

Smooches!

A Triumphant Monday…

In Daily Musings on July 16, 2012 at 9:27 am

Happy Monday Dahhlings! I hope you had a pleasant and fun-filled weekend.  Did you accomplish everything you set out to do?  I hope you did. My weekend was once again extremely busy, this time with paperwork, receipts and all the little things you have to do to keep your business running smoothly. Isn’t the quote above fitting? I love it!

This upcoming week is also going to be very hectic for me, so I apologize in advance if my posts are a bit sparse.  One thing you can be sure of, I will try to post stimulating visuals and inspirational/motivational quotes as often as I can until my schedule calms down.

In the meantime remember to…

Here’s my song of the day: Sister Sledge ~ Easier To Love ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abG2M3xi0dE

Have yourselves a stylishly chic, victorious and amazing Monday!

Stepping Out In Faith…

In Daily Musings on June 7, 2012 at 12:54 pm

1 year ago today, I left a high paying job of 8 years to step out in faith, and follow my own path.  Sometimes you have to take a risk, risk can be good!  It’s important to calculate your risks as best as you can; more importantly, put your faith in God, he will never steer you wrong.  A good paying job does not instantly mean happiness, I found that out the hard way.  A high paying job does not guarantee you good health, good relationships or  good associates, I found that out too.

There’s nothing wrong with working for corporate America, corporate UK or wherever you are in the world, just make sure you are in that job for the right reasons and not just to get a cheque.  I choose to work for myself.  I’m an Aquarian, I am creative, I need to just be… Me!

In the last 12 months I have not looked back.  Instead, I started my blog, stepped up my crochet business, opened my Etsy store, figured out Twitter, taken on contract work; made fantastic friends on Instagram (and Twitter), and more importantly I became one happy, over the moon, high-heeled strutting, loving her life, vintage wearing woman! It’s been an amazing journey.  Believe me, I haven’t really started yet! There’s so much more to come!

There are those who rooted for me every step of the way, and from the bottom of my heart, I truly thank you. You’ve helped to make this journey what it is.

Be you… Always!

Love & light.
