Hi Stylish People! Here we are on another chilly Friday. Can you belive it was 32 degrees this morning? and it’s not going to be that much higher over the weekend. I’m pretty sure the groundhog is in his burrow laughing really hard at us.
While going through my daily emails, I came across this lovely gold plated and leather bracelet on Joyus.com {search for The Perfect Bracelet}. If you’re looking for unusual accessories, Joyus is one of the sites to visit {you have to sign up to be able to shop}. At only $38 dollars for a set of 3, these would like really nice in multi stacks; and with free shipping on $50 or more it’s worth it. I know they’ll be on my list of accessories for the upcoming spring/summer season.
Another little treasure which arrived in my inbox were Cable Keeps by Nice, which are being sold on the Fab.com website, this is another site you need to be a member to shop, but it takes all of 5 minutes to sign up. If you’re like me and the mess of white cable cords, which power all of our various i-devices does not sit well with you, well, here is a colourful and tidy solution. They’re only $12 for the next 6 days, not bad for neatness.
The most important things for me to do this weekend, is to get a haircut, upload some new items to my Etsy store, and create a couple of my Penelope Rosette hats for Easter. What’s on your weekend list?

Well guess who woke up late because their iPhone alarm app did not sync with day light savings time? Why do we still do this? Other than that, I had a fantastic weekend, the weather was absolutely gorgeous, blue skies and lots of sun, and of course today, it’s cloudy and overcast. No matter what, we’ re still going to have a great day!

Happy Monday Dahhlings! Another week, another opportunity to do something wonderful and accomplish more than you did last week. I want to ask you a question? Describe one word which sums up your weekend. Leave your answer in the comments section, I’d love to hear from you. The one word which sums up my weekend is… SERENDIPITY! Because I truly did find something fortunate in a unexpected place.

This is a post I wrote back in May. It’s very timely for me at the moment and I hope it is for you too. It’s just a gentle reminder that we must always take care of ourselve.
“Life Is A Song Worth Singing” This is the title from one of my favourite Teddy Pendergrass albums. Life truly is worth singing!

It’s Friday!!!! Time to kick up your heels, and celebrate the weekend.
Here are a 10 things you should do for yourself this weekend. Pick a few or better yet do them all. You’ve got 2 days!!
- Buy yourself some flowers or an orchid plant
- Treat yourself to a mani/pedi and if it’s not in the budget do it yourself.
- Give yourself a facial, your skin will love you for it. (click link for homemade recipe)
- Treat yourself to a quality glass of wine or better yet champagne and if you don’t drink pour some sparkling cider in your best champagne flute and toast yourself for being such a fantastic person.
- Go to Barnes & Noble or any bookstore and treat yourself to a good book; here’s one for you, Roots of Style” by Isabel Toledo
- Take a walk. Just walk around the neighbourhood. 2 things will happen here; (a) you’ll get some exercise and (b) you may just notice something you never noticed before. If you live in a boring neighbourhood, drive/walk somewhere, where there’s scenery and walk there (no excuses).
- Buy or download the Anthony Hamilton cd “Back to Love” you’ll be glad you did.
- Buy or download the new Estelle cd, “All of Me“, you’ll be glad you did that too.
- Instead of having breakfast at home on Sunday, get dressed, find somewhere cute and go out for brunch, let someone else cook for a change
- Sunday night take a luxurious bubble bath, with your glass of champagne/sparkling cider, and the book you bought, then relax and think about how wonderful you are, and how much you’re looking forward to the brilliant and blessed week ahead of you.

Wow!!! What a week! This was the longest and shortest week ever! Have you ever had one of those?
I’ve got so much going on; new contract; trying to start and finish up the Maylana’s Closet winter accessory line; coordinate with my sister who is in the middle of creating her own knitwear line, while helping me prepare for the big fashion event I wrote about on Monday click here. Are there enough hours in the day… Help!!

Well here we are again Divas, it’s Monday, and another fresh start. What are you going to do with this new week you’ve been blessed with? How are you going to make it special? Do something great, have something to show for it by Friday. This is the lead up to the U.S. Memorial weekend; so it’s going to be a short week for most (myself included) Are you bikini ready?? I’ve still got 6lbs to go, but I’m good.
I had a lovely weekend. Went to my favourite spot, Oya, to celebrate another Diva’s birthday, Ms. Donna, where we had a fabulous time with lots of sushi, cocktails and good conversation. While there, we met Antoine Anderson, who owns a modeling agency; he walked in with about 13 male models (that in itself was a sight to see) who all looked absolutely gorgeous in Antoine’s line of bow ties and their 2 piece suits. Antoine conducted a photo shoot and left… That’s fabulousness for you. Watch out for Antoine in a future post. Happy Birthday Donna, we celebrated in style.

Wow… What a crazy weekend!!! Between creating iPad cases, shopping, a major photo shoot, and generally running around like a crazy person; I did not have time to write today’s post. All will be well in the next few hours or more likely tomorrow. In the meantime, I’ll leave you to gasp at the craziest pair of gorgeous yellow suede spiked heeled platforms; which must be at least 6″-7″ in height.
